The Details
Certikin International is the country’s largest swimming pool and wet leisure equipment manufacturer. They made the decision to relocate their HQ to a purpose-built new building, to enable unrestricted company growth and expansion in the coming years. As with most clients, the previous location was dated and restricted growth – especially with the pandemic providing their busiest year to date!
The primary challenge to overcome was bringing together staff working from multiple locations; some at home and some in the old office. Their siloed teams needed a central workspace that would encourage interaction and build a greater sense of community.
Our Solution
Many of their employees were accustomed to a traditional working model. We gained a clear understanding of the experience they wanted to accomplish and created a vibrant, contemporary space workplace that supports the evolution of their continued growth.
Working closely with various teams we ensured everyone had adequate storage and meeting spaces – one of the growing issue in their old workplace. We incorporated different settings to support different working activity, whether that be focused desk work, collaboration, private conversations, unwinding or informal meetings.
Our ongoing relationship ensured that they moved into the space as smoothly as possible, but it didn’t stop there. Once the teams had settled in, we provided additional furniture as people adapted to the new work-space and discovered new needs.
