The Details
CFS came to Rhino with a completely empty new unit, looking for us to design and install mezzanines and fit-out two floors of office space. We needed to make sure we could achieve the required loading for each of the three mezzanine floors, (one of which needed to store in excess of 50 engines!) and that the column supports worked with the workshops, offices and labs below.
It was paramount that the fitout met all the different departments’ processes and priorities. This meant consulting with engineers and various staff members to ensure this happened.
The factory design had to ensure the building, fire ratings, fire detection, emergency lighting, heating and ventilation all adhered to current regulations. Alongside this, certain areas required temperature control and specific electrical requirements due to the high quantity of machinery onsite.
Our Solution
We presented CFS with a full, detailed, schedule of works along with all the costings and programme just 18 days after our first visit.
The key to CFS’s project was a detailed and specific schedule of works that was followed closely to ensure everything was completed within the given time frame, From office design and fit-out to construction of load-bearing mezzanines and warehouse facilities, everything was completed to high standard within the 16 week time frame.
