The Details
Toy manufacturer Mookie’s previous space was bold and colourful, but lacked a homely, calm atmosphere that the post-Covid workforce is craving. An office filled with banks of desks left no scope to collaborate or relax with other team members.
Moreover, Mookie were outgrowing their current footprint, which presented the perfect opportunity to step back and look at how an expanded workspace could bring the working environment in line with the company vision and goals for the future.
Mookie approached Rhino to create an intelligent, vibrant, inviting space that not only shows the company’s progression but clearly displays the value placed on their people.
They needed a space which was fresh and modern, with agile spaces to work and collaborate over latest ideas and projects.
Our Solution
Our solution for Mookie involved realigning the space to suit the company’s future requirements. An uncluttered, open and agile space provides multi-purpose zones for a host of different activities.
The workspace furniture, fittings and accessories all work harmoniously to provide a ‘home from home’, using a muted, tonal palette, soft furnishings and textures. Accent colours of warm orange, navy blue and the occasional bright yellow provide pops of brightness and bring the space together. Wood and natural finishes soften the ‘office’ feel and introduce warmer textures. As a toy manufacturer, a repurposed swing frame provides a focal point as well as a subtle nod towards their company purpose.
Mookie’s workspace is now an inviting, welcoming hub that employees can return to after an unsure time – a calm and productive working environment for all.
